Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Hanoi arrival, meet and pick up by our local tour guide and driver, transfer to hotel for rest and if time permits ( depend on your arrival time), then, we will continue on to the atmospheric heart of the Hanoi Old Quarter and walk by numerous street stalls and quiet residential alleys. Our local guide will take you to one of Hanoi’s hidden café’s These hard to find café’s of which there are very few left in the city serve egg coffee, a delicious local delicacy to be sampled whilst watching the hustle and bustle of the Old Quarter. Day 2: Hanoi city tour
Embark on a private tour visiting Hanoi Old Quarter. We will take you to Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son temple. Then Visit a sacred place to recall President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career in Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the Stilt-house where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked from 1958 to 1969. Visit one Pillar Pagoda, the one modeled after a lotus flower, a symbol of Hanoi city in present days. Continue to visit the Quan Thanh Temple and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake. After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum, continue to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam – the first university constructed in 1070, its gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. We will stop at Thang Long theatre for Water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3 Halong Bay with overnight stay
Pick up for a 4 hour journey along the red river delta to Halong city. arrive and check in the board of Halong cruise, activities includes kayaking, visit some hidden grottoes, swimming ( if weather permits), and lots of entertainment on board the cruise. Overnight on board the Halong Cruise
Day 4 Halong Bay – Flight to Ho Chi Minh city
Morning is yours, join a tai chi class on upper deck and then latter enjoy the delicious buffet breakfast while cruise sailing toward the hidden corners. The water is emerald and you will be amazed by the reflection of sea, sky and the scenery. After lunch, you will be transferred to Hanoi and then to airport to catch a flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Arrive and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay
Day 5 A day tour to Cu Chi tunnels & Saigon
Our guide from Viet center tourist (CambodianPrivateTours.com) will pick you up for a day tour to visit famous Cu Chi tunnels, an incredible underground network built by the Vietcong during Vietnam War. After lunch, we will drive back to Saigon & enjoy a tour in the Old Colonial Residential Quarter and discover the old Hotel de Ville, the Opera House, Notre-Dame Cathedral built in the 19th century, the dazzling French-style post office and the Reunification Palace (outside). Overnight in Ho chi minh city
Day 6 My Tho, Ben Tre, Can Tho Mekong Delta
>Embark on a scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through fruit plantations and villages. Proceed to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho
Day 7 Can Tho, Cai Rang & Floating markets
Morning After breakfast, you first take the boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River. The boat trip later takes you to the Cai Rang floating market, which is the most original ones and bustling places of the region. In the afternoon, you will travel along the village to get in touch with the local people. Here, you have a chance to experience how to pass a “Monkey bridge” which is built by only one bamboo. Leaving the village, you will go to visit Can Tho market, have lunch there. Then, take car back to Ho Chi minh city
Day 8 Ho Chi Minh city departure
No activity planned for the last day, free until our driver transfer you back to the airport for departure flight.
